Lab Technician I (Document Control Tech)
Location: Somerset, NJ (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $ 19.12/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The Lab Technician I (Document Control Tech) acts as a liaison for quality information throughout the plant. This role is responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and organizing technical data and quality documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, cGMP, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Support and promote an interdependent safety culture, working toward zero accidents.
• Embrace and contribute to the Quality, Hygiene, and Environmental missions of the plant.
• Understand and apply Quality System, cGMP, and regulatory requirements based on training provided.
• Receive, maintain, and review technical data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
• Collect and build lot dossiers for finished products.
• Maintain documentation records, organize files, and ensure proper storage.
• Support housekeeping and organizational standards (5S).
• Provide assistance on filling lines and in warehouse/storage locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing or quality environment (preferred)

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Scientific work background a plus
• Strong decision-making skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to lift boxes and work in production/warehouse settings
