Position Overview
The Key Carrier plays a vital role in supporting the management of our retail store. This versatile position may involve responsibilities such as cashiering, receiving, or assisting sales. The Key Carrier is equipped with knowledge of essential store operations and is prepared to act as the Store Manager during brief periods of absence, including opening and closing the store as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Open and close the store according to directives.
Support store management and supervise store team members.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of store operations to take charge in the Store Manager's absence.
Contribute to daily store operations and team cohesion.
Assist in onboarding and training new staff members.
Stay vigilant concerning safety and security matters, promptly reporting incidents to the Store Manager when necessary.
Understand and execute company policies and procedures effectively.
Help drive sales growth, maintain profit margins, and minimize controllable expenses.
Participate in maintaining the store's overall appearance and image, including staff presentation.
Engage actively in personal selling and customer interaction.
Support efforts to control shrinkage through proactive measures.
Aid in resolving personnel and customer issues and complaints.
Assist with all customary duties relevant to the retail apparel/footwear industry.
Collaborate with the Store Manager on various miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Comprehend all reports from the main office and guide associates on achieving compliance with goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, Payroll, Refunds, Turnover).

Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to follow basic instructions effectively.
Skilled in interpreting documents and applying abstract concepts to complex tasks.
Strong verbal communication skills for understanding and responding appropriately.
Aptitude for analyzing information and compiling reports.
Must be proficient in reading and understanding English.
Candidates must remain alert throughout assigned work hours.
