Key Account Manager

Job Position

This position assists the Account Executive to maximize business while maintaining profitable relationships between the customer and company.

Major Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze weekly selling performance.
• Review business opportunities with buyers.
• Track advertising, review layouts and confirm delivery of product.
• Customer service support/direction
• Assist executives Preparing reports
• Attend sales meeting with sales team and shoe shows
• Communicate with accounts, sale reps and vendors to maintain excellent customer relations.
• Confirm pricing with vendors and customers
• Create folders of purchase orders while maintaining them with daily correspondence and file them according to delivery
• Check orders into AS400 system
• Guide team on Creating spec sheets and cost sheets in customer's web site
• Work with customer to cancel and re-order product
• Informing customers of product and order information
• Confirm delivery by working with production teams
• Inform vendors of customer's spec and requirements
• Review customers websites bi-weekly for updated information and new requirements. Advise vendors of any updates.
• Create picture book for each customer
• Build relationships with Buyers and DMMs
• Special projects as required
• Other duties may be assigned

Specific Job Skills:

• Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions including coaching, negotiating, selling, group presentations, etc.
• Most decisions are made within company policy constraints, and some latitude exists. Decisions may impact others or the organization
• Work responsibilities occasionally concern confidential and/or sensitive information requiring the use of discretion
• Job duties are somewhat varied, occasionally requiring conceptualizing, planning and implementing
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and time management skills essential
• Under limited supervision, anticipates and solves problems for self and other lower level employees

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• 2-4 years' experience in wholesale or retail buying
• Knowledge of retail math

Full Time Positions: The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100k - $120k. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
