Junior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant for a 6-month onsite contract in Seattle, WA. This position is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience and grow in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting functions, assist with reconciliations, and contribute to month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review and process expense reports and vendor invoices
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to inquiries as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Provide general support to the accounting team and management

Qualifications:

• 13 years of accounting experience preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
