Join Our School Nursing Team! LVN Opportunity with Flexible Scheduling

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team to support school health services across various campuses. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working with children and adolescents in an educational environment and are looking for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities Include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Providing first aid and emergency care to students and staff
• Monitoring and managing chronic health conditions
• Supporting students with behavioral needs and IEPs
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
• Communicating with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Promoting health education and wellness initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited registered, practical or vocational nursing program
• Licensed as a Licensed Practical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
• One year of professional experience
• Current CPR certification
• Recent TB test, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Necessary Qualifications:

• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
• Proficient in restroom assistance and hygiene support
• Experience with feeding assistance, including G-tube care
• Skilled in tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Capable of diabetic care and blood glucose monitoring
• Able to monitor and respond to seizure activity
