The Custodian Facilities Personnel plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of our facilities. This position involves performing heavy cleaning duties such as maintaining hard and carpeted floors, cleaning walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The role also involves operating various sizes of equipment and assisting with event setup. A willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques and excellent attendance are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with the public consistently and daily while providing high levels of customer service.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, and countertops.
• Replace supplies in the bathrooms and wipe down surfaces.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dispose of full trash bags by placing them in a 55-gallon bucket on casters and wheeling them to the dumpster chute.
• Clean windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Properly label, dilute, and use all chemicals while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Wipe down tables, rearrange chairs, and mop up spills.
• Assist with setting up facilities for meetings and events as necessary.
• Make periodic checks through assigned sections, including restrooms, every 30 minutes.
• Be equipped at all times with dustpan, broom, putty knife, cleaning rags, and spray bottle.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial duties, sweeping, mopping, and general labor.
• Ability to perform custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of environmental service and sanitizing protocols.

Work Environment:

Custodian Facilities Personnel may work for interiors or exteriors with varied shifts. The day and swing shifts for interiors are compensated at $20.50 per hour, and the overnight shift at $21.50 per hour. For exteriors, the day and swing shifts are compensated at $21.50 per hour, and the overnight shift at $22.50 per hour. The work schedule includes morning (6:00 am - 2:45 pm), swing shift (2:30 pm - 11:15 pm), and overnight (10:00 pm - 6:30 am) shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, Washington.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr. Fully paid benefits, medical, dental, vision, 401k, free parking.
