Janitor

Bilingual or Spanish Speaking Janitor in Sunnyvale

Janitors are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of facilities including restrooms, floors, walls, hallways, stock rooms, elevators, cafeterias, break rooms, clean room laboratories, baseboards, and windows. They are tasked with ensuring every corner of the building is spotless.

Responsibilities:

• Clean various sized rooms including tables, break rooms, lunchrooms, and doors.
• Mop floors and sweep with a broom and mop.
• Vacuum and clean stainless steel surfaces.
• Clean and restock restrooms.
• Remove trash and wash windows.
• Perform some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.

Essential Skills:

• 1 year of cleaning experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English for documenting daily logs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a housekeeper, custodian, or janitor is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to submit to drug testing and background screening.
• Bilingual skills are accommodated.

Work Environment:

Janitors will work inside a professional facility with offices, cafeterias, and stockrooms. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6 pm to 2:30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
