IT PM (Intake of Business)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and business solutions sector, is seeking a dedicated Intake of Business PM to join their team. As an Intake of Business PM, you will be part of the IT PMO supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Intake of Business PM
Location: Onsite in Lakewood, Colorado (4 days per week onsite, remote Fridays)
Sponsorship not available for this role. This role is not open to corp to corp candidates. This role is not open to W2 candidates from 3rd party vendors.
Pay Range: $50 + an hour depending on experience
What's the Job?

• Serve as the primary point of entry for new technology and business solution requests across the organization.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and channel intake requests through a standardized governance process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Business, IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance to ensure accurate scoping and resource alignment.
• Facilitate intake triage sessions to assess feasibility, urgency, risk, and business value.
• Develop initial project scopes, high-level estimates, and stakeholder impact assessments.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Business Analysis, or Demand Management.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project intake, governance, or portfolio management processes.
• Vendor Management & Procurement experience, including RFx, SOW, and contractual agreements.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.
