Logistics Specialist

Join a leading computing infrastructure team as a Logistics Specialist I and play a crucial role in operating one of the world's largest computing environments. Be a part of a dynamic logistics team, ensuring operational excellence and supporting the infrastructure through inventory management, parts distribution, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Fulfill part requests and ensure all material movements are precisely tracked in our systems.
• Handle basic parts processing and support time-sensitive technical requests.
• Maintain organized workspaces and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Work independently while being a strong team player, maintaining a fast pace and following strict processes.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and take direction in English.
• Ability to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Understanding of inventory control methodology.
• Positive work attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to operational excellence.
• Preferred 1 year of experience (not required).

Work Environment:

Work in both office and warehouse environments where the noise level varies from low to loud. Be prepared for physical demands, including standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods, and occasionally assisting in loading and unloading shipments. The environment may include exposure to extreme cold or hot weather. The daily schedule supports front half morning shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, with hours ranging from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The position requires working holidays and offers potential extension for high performers.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
