First Shift Opportunity

Pay: $18/hr

Job Description

The Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in monitoring and controlling inventory activities. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage inventory processes and engage in shipping activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Validate all production receipts and/or discrepancies.
• Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of upper-level management.
• Execute electronic transfers and assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program.
• Participate in all physical inventories.
• Create bills of lading for outbound shipments and manage paperwork for international shipments.
• Send advanced ship notices to retail customers and produce shipping address labels.
• Generate UCC 128 labels and maintain constant interaction with transportation drivers.
• Assist the traffic manager with clerical duties and fill in for other clerical functions within the department.

Essential Skills

• Good time management and strong organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor and proper phone etiquette.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience with Dynamics AX, ERP Software, and inventory control software.

Work Environment

The role is primarily a sit-down, computer/desk position, but will require working on the dock as needed. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with variations during end-of-month and physical inventory activities. The physical demands include regular sitting, handling, talking, and hearing, with frequent walking, standing, and stooping. The noise level is moderate. The environment follows GMP practices, requiring hair and beard nets.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
