Interventional Technologist Associate - Cardiology

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Summary: Join our talented team as an Interventional Technologist Associate, where you will have the opportunity to support and assist in imaging, diagnostic, and interventional procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions. Your work will align with our commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical histories, draping, and positioning patients, and setting up procedural sites. Administer contrast media and medications as per your scope of practice.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Proactively resolve any image quality issues and provide clear information to patients about procedures and equipment to enhance their understanding.
• Manage equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate imaging parameters and adhering to radiation safety standards while reporting any equipment malfunctions.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Credentials:
  • Fluoroscopy Operator License from CDPHE within 6 months of hire
  • Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 2 years of hire
  • Reg Cardiac Electrophysiology within 2 years of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of hire
• Education: High school diploma or GED, or completion of a certificate, license, or degree program in health science. Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or a Cardiac Technologist program is preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer must be valid before the start date, with a card valid for at least sixty days after hire.
