Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Summary:

• As an Interventional Radiology Technologist I, you will play a crucial role in performing imaging, diagnostic, and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and vascular conditions, working independently while adhering to the highest standards of practice in alignment with the organization's values and mission.

Responsibilities:

• Independently execute key responsibilities and serve as a subject matter expert in delivering board-certified care. Prepare patients for procedures, operating within your scope of practice.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, performing and analyzing imaging procedures while addressing image quality issues as they arise.
• Educate patients about their procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure they understand and cooperate throughout the process. Monitor patient conditions and respond to any status changes appropriately.
• Prepare and troubleshoot equipment and supplies. Ensure safety standards are met while conducting quality control procedures.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisiveness, working effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and taking appropriate actions as necessary.

Requirements:

• ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
• Reg Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Spec.
• ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
• Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED or graduation from an accredited health science program, or completion of a Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Certified in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Minimum Experience: 6 months' experience with interventional procedures.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in hand before the start date; card must be valid for at least sixty days after hire.
