Interventional Radiology Nurse Manager

Join our dynamic team as an Interventional Radiology Nurse Manager where you will lead a dedicated group of nursing professionals in a state-of-the-art department within the Heart and Vascular Center. The ideal candidate will hold a BSN degree and have a minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience, with a preference for those who have 3+ years of interventional radiology or procedural nursing experience. Experience as an Associate Nurse Manager or RN Manager is highly valued.

The Interventional Radiology Department features 8 advanced procedural rooms that cater to both inpatients and outpatients. Our unit performs a wide range of procedures led by Interventional Radiologists and Advanced Practice Providers, including specialized Neuro Intervention as part of our TJC Accredited Stroke Program. In this role, you will also oversee our newly established Vascular Access Team, which is essential for managing IV access hospital-wide.

This is a full-time position at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, located in Aurora, CO, with a shift during the day and an expectation to support 24/7 operations, including being part of the on-call team for Stroke and Body IR emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and promote departmental goals and objectives aligned with the strategic vision of UCHealth.
• Manage staff performance, satisfaction, and conflict resolution while overseeing recruitment, scheduling, and payroll.
• Monitor budgetary compliance and vendor relationships, ensuring proper management of systems, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate high-quality patient care by collaborating with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), with relevant certification appropriate for the position.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
• BLS certification must be current and valid upon starting the role.
