nWORK LOCATION: Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
nWORK SCHEDULE: FT, 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must live within 30 minutes of Texas Health Plano)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

- n
Associate Degree Applied Science required OR
n n - n
Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or
n n - n
High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
n n - n
1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred.
n n - n
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And
n n - n
GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred OR
n n - n
RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist-Obtain within 6 months of hire if graduated from Cardiovascular Accredited Program
n n - n
LMRT-Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist-If you have RCIS certification only
n n - n
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support-within 90 days of hire required
n n
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Imaging Quality and Processing:
n n - n
Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
n n - n
Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
n n - n
Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
n n - n
Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
n n
