Description
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills in infectious disease diagnosis and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outpatient Care (Clinic-Based)
- Provide comprehensive adult primary care in a well-established outpatient clinic.
- Collaborate closely with two experienced APPs to manage patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow up as needed.
- Work clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Inpatient Care (Hospitalist)
- Serve as a hospitalist providing medical care to adult inpatients as part of a shared call or rotation schedule.
- Admit, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients from the affiliated hospital.
- Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary rounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $300,000 (RHC Model) for the first 2 years
- Quality Incentive 2.5% physician quality bonus
