This is a busy primary care office that has recently experienced staff changes due to retirement and relocation. The practice maintains a supportive environment with existing staff including 2 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner, creating an excellent opportunity for a locum tenens provider to join a well-established team.

Opportunity:
Board Eligible - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting with 15-20 patient encounters per shift
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm schedule with mid-day lunch break
• Schedule capped at 40 hours per week with practice manager ensuring reasonable workload
• Clinic coverage only - no call responsibilities required
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine candidates welcome
• Must maintain active medical license with clean history
• BLS certification required
• Board eligibility required (certification preferred)
• Temporary privileges available if all requirements are met
• Must complete Employee Health Requirements prior to orientation
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
• Lodging options include Best Western and Holiday Inn Express in nearby Dillsboro, NC
• Nearest airport is Asheville, NC (AVL)

Compensation:
