The Position

An interim controller is needed to lead and oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, working to stabilize and optimize financial operations.

Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, managing internal controls, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong hospital or health system finance experience (especially accounting, revenue cycle, and financial controls), be highly organized, and thrive in a dynamic interim leadership role with excellent communication skills.

Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• Appropriate state or professional licensure/certification (e.g., cpa) preferred.
• Progressive accounting or financial leadership experience required, preferably in healthcare settings or complex organizations.

Compensation Details

• Compensation range: $140,000 to $150,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with fair market value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
