Intake Enrollment Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician

In this essential role, you'll:

1. Accurately enter patient enrollment data into pharmacy systems.
2. Submit eligibility requests to identify insurance coverage for new patients.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve pharmacy claim rejections for both new and refill prescriptions.
4. Document all actions and findings in the operating system.
5. Collaborate with admissions and pharmacy teams to expedite referrals and ensure timely patient access.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the enrollment process.

What You Bring:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• 13 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy-related data entry and claims resolution.
• Strong understanding of medical insurance processes, prior authorizations, and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and attention to detail.
• Typing speed of 40 WPM with high accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
