Instrument Technician

Trillium Staffing is now hiring an Instrument Technician for a temporary role in Midland, MI!

Pay rate is $20-24 per hour based on experience. Schedule is Monday - Friday, full-time (40 hours per week).

Job Duties

Testing & Calibration: Conduct performance evaluations, calibration, and quality control checks on instruments to ensure proper operation and compliance with specifications.

Troubleshooting & Documentation: Diagnose and resolve instrument or component issues, maintain accurate test and certification documentation, and support process improvement initiatives.

Laboratory Organization: Maintain an organized and safe testing environment, ensuring tools, supplies, and equipment are available and properly maintained.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics, computer science, or related field preferred; minimum 3 years' experience in a technical or quality environment.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and instrumentation; proficiency with hand tools and ability to read mechanical drawings.

Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organizational ability, and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on technical work.
