This position involves installing cabinets, racks, and drawers into the back of vacant work vans in the 'jig' department. The role requires the use of air tools to install these elements according to customer specifications. It is a physically demanding job that involves bending, twisting, and repetitive movement to access the back of vans as they come down the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets, racks, and drawers into the back of vacant work vans.
• Work in the 'jig' department using air tools.
• Follow customer specifications for installations.
• Engage in bending, twisting, and repetitive movements.
• Remain on knees and bend for most of the shift.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and construction.
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical skills.
• Ability to use a tape measure and read blueprints.
• Experience in physically demanding roles.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar physically demanding field.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Employees must be at their stations by 5:55 am, with orientation required at 5:45 am on the first day. The role includes working in and out of the back of work vans, involving bending, squatting, and using hand tools. The work is repetitive with vans moving down the assembly line, requiring quick installation of custom cabinetry. The warehouse is climate-controlled, though the work is physically intensive. The dress code includes t-shirts, jeans or work pants, and closed-toe shoes, with steel-toed options if preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
