Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking an Inspector to join their team. As an Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting manufacturing and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Newton, MA

Pay Range: $25.68

Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Perform incoming part inspections with emphasis on electromechanical components and sterile single-use consumable components.
• Conduct in-process inspections of assemblies to ensure compliance with design and sterile-use requirements.
• Inspect subassemblies and finished products, including sterile consumables, for conformance to specifications.
• Generate and manage Nonconformance Reports (NCMRs) as required.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

What's Needed?

• Experience operating under ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 quality systems, preferably in a medical device environment.
• Proficiency in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and controlled environment requirements for sterile consumables.
• Familiarity with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and vision measurement systems (e.g., Micro-Vu).
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and PCB schematics for electromechanical devices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work overtime as needed.
