Information Engineer - Level 4

Description

Senior-level engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex information systems. Leads cross-functional projects, ensures architectural alignment with business goals, and mentors junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

  Architect scalable, secure information systems (e.g., data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, enterprise APIs).

  Define technical standards, governance policies, and best practices.

  Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, cloud-native tools) for strategic adoption.

  Lead full lifecycle of critical projects (requirements, design, deployment, maintenance).

  Troubleshoot high-impact system failures; perform root-cause analysis.

• n

  Collaborate with C-suite/stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.

  Guide junior engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and skill development.

  Partner with security/compliance teams to mitigate risks (e.g., data privacy, regulatory requirements).

Qualifications

  Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• n

  7+ years in systems engineering, data architecture, or software development.

• n

  Expertise in two or more :

  Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake).

  Enterprise integration (APIs, ETL, microservices).

  DevOps/MLOps practices.

  Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects.
