Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain the medication formulary in various clinical systems.
• Build, test, and maintain system ordersets.
• Identify and resolve issues identified with pharmacy related systems in a timely manner.
• Develop, test, and implement system upgrades.
• Maintain Pharmacy Charge Master to ensure accuracy of data and pricing information.
• Develop training material and train end users on new functionality.
• Design, build, and test reports to support clinical and operational initiatives.
• Occasional weekends or evenings may be required depending on project implementations.
• On call coverage required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy (BS or PharmD Degree), eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Georgia.
• Two years hospital pharmacy experience or PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency. Completion of an accredited PGY1 Residency and a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency is preferred.
• Previous experience working in an academic medical center environment preferred. Epic Analyst experience is preferred.
