Infectious Disease Physician

Overview

This employer is a non-profit, integrated regional health system seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) for a permanent position. The role focuses 100% on Infectious Disease for adult patients.

Responsibilities

• 100% infectious disease, adults only
• Schedule: Week 1 – hospital service (hospital call, consults and return patients); Week 2 – three clinic days 8a-5p, two days off
• Office located on the hospital campus
• Patients receive intravenous antibiotics at home, outpatient infusion center or nursing home
• Staff provide travel consultations, immunizations and immigration physicals
• Full complement of medical and surgical specialties and interventional radiology
• 24-hour in-house hospitalist services
