Infectious Disease Physician - Des Moines, IA Seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join an established team in Des Moines, Iowa. Position Details

• Join a well-established and reputable team of 8 Infectious Disease physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Office space attached to Medical Center
• Teaching opportunities with local residencies and medical students
• Large primary care system providing a built-in referral base
• Infectious disease consultation and follow-up at three hospitals within a 10-mile radius
• Outpatient infectious disease consultation and follow-up
• Participate in a robust antimicrobial stewardship program
• Opportunity to engage in antimicrobial stewardship and E-consultative services at affiliated hospitals/clinics
• Collaborative team environment focused on improving community health
Position Requirements
• MD or DO, Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Iowa medical license
• Active state and federal prescribing authority
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
