Job Description

We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters/Blasters to perform coating and surface preparation work on industrial tanks, structural steel, and related equipment. This role is vital for ensuring high-quality finishes and protection of critical industrial assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting and blasting on tanks, structural steel, and related equipment.

• Conduct surface preparation work, including sanding and sandblasting.

• Utilize paint booths and other equipment to apply industrial coatings.

• Read and follow technical specifications and safety procedures.

• Ensure all work meets industry standards and quality expectations.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial painting and blasting.

• Proficiency with surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and various coating systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with paint prep and sandblasting techniques.

• Familiarity with industrial paint applications in various environments.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, from 7am to 5pm. Projects are located within 60-70 miles of the office, with per diem provided for travel over one hour.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charles City, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
