Industrial Equipment Painter

Schedules Available: 1st shift and 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $20 - $22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finish surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, priming, and applying coatings.
• Mix and apply paint per specifications using LVHP paint guns and ensure correct mill thickness with wet gauges.
• Maintain paint booths, filters, paint lines, equipment, and respirators for safe and optimal operation.
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Keep accurate maintenance and inventory records while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate job status, issues, and improvements to supervisors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; 2+ years in industrial painting preferred.
• Certification in industrial painting/surface preparation (e.g., NACE, SSPC) a plus.
• Skilled in using spray booths, LVHP guns, sprayers, and other specialized painting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills; flexible to work overtime/extended hours as needed.
• Must pass a paint test.
