Industrial Electrician

Our client, a leading food processing facility, is seeking a Sr. Electrician to join their team. As a Sr. Electrician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive safety mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Electrician

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through proactive electrical maintenance strategies.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies, prioritizing critical issues affecting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and update electrical drawings to reflect modifications.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
