Imaging Intern - CT

Radiologic Technologist

Provide service to patient under the direct supervision.

• Prepare and position patient and select exposure factors accurately.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Position patient and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure room, storage area, dressing room, film storage area and any other areas in department.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
