nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced IAM Engineer to join our IT team and play a crucial role in ensuring the security and accessibility of our organization's digital assets. The Identity Engineer will be responsible for managing and enhancing our identity management systems, providing seamless and secure access to resources for employees, customers, and partners.
nResponsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate security policies and procedures.
nResponsibilities
nResponsible for basic planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures; oversees the implementation of security systems, applications, environments and architectures and ensures compliance with information security standards and corporate security policies and procedures.
nDesign and implement robust identity management solutions, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity governance.
nManage and maintain the IAM infrastructure, including directories, identity providers, and access management tools.
nOnboard and offboard users, ensuring timely and accurate access provisioning and deprovisioning across various systems.
nDevelop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a secure access control framework.
nMonitor and analyze access logs, identify potential security risks, and implement measures to mitigate them.
nCollaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems, including cloud-based applications and on-premises infrastructure.
nStay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security standards related to identity and access management.
nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues and ensure smooth user experience.
nConduct regular audits and access reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM processes, architectures, and user guidelines.
nRecommend and implement new security controls across Oracle's line of business (LOB).
nImprove current processes and workflows to minimize manual efforts.
nKey Technology Areas:
nProficiency in IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, OneLogin, OCI IAM or similar identity management solutions.
nStrong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect), federation, and API security.
nExperience with implementing and managing MFA solutions such as Duo Security, RSA SecurID, Oracle Mobile Authenticator (OMA) or similar identity management solutions.
nKnowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) directory) and identity lifecycle management.
nFamiliarity with cloud security and IAM integration with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
nScripting and programming skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and customization of IAM processes.
nUnderstanding of security principles, encryption, and key management.
nExperience with identity analytics and access management reporting tools is a plus.
nQualifications and Skills:
nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or IT Infrastructure.
n3-5+ years of experience in identity and access management or related security engineering roles with a preferred 5-7 years.
nExcellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
nStrong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
nRelevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
nMust be able to pass a U.S. Federal background check.

nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
