Hybrid Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As a Licensed Clinical Therapist/Independent Licensed Therapist, you will engage with a diverse patient population, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Your role will encompass behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong provider-patient relationships and effectively coordinate care with external providers
• Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations and deliver ongoing medication management
• Enhance the training experience of our graduate students through active participation
• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy for various mental health conditions
• Systematically track treatment responses and monitor patients for changes in symptoms and potential treatment side effects
• Represent the practice in community outreach through presentations and lectures
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
• Active and unrestricted state license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience after obtaining your Master’s degree
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
• Familiarity with medical documentation software, including Excel, Outlook, and Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

The salary range for this position is $59,500 to $116,600 annually for full-time employment. Pay is determined by various factors such as local labor market conditions, education level, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws.
