Job Summary

Provides administrative and operational support to our human resources department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, performance reviews, and training records
Support the recruitment process by prescreening applicants, scheduling interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires
Maintaining and updating employee trackers
Maintaining I9 and health binders
Coordinates pre-employment background checks for NPOs, subcontractors, and temps; maintains all training trackers for groups
Facilitating orientation
Assisting with the check-in process for events
Coordinating building events
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and external vendors
Understanding of HR policies, procedures, employment laws, and best practices
Ensuring accuracy in all HR processes and documentation
The ability to build rapport with employees and maintain positive working relationships
