ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO).
Overview
In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You will attend our award-winning training program and join a sales team that works with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, making employees' lives better with high-quality benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. Daily, you will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from established internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes at the same time through various stages, document them, and follow the process through implementation until your new business is up and running on the solutions you sell.

What You’ll Do
- Grow Our Business While Growing Yours: Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy.
- Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs. Earn referral business by networking with existing and potential clients and forging partnerships in-person and over the phone with decision-makers.
- Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family: Cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts and build lasting relationships.
- Collaborate Daily: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and your network while demonstrating ethical standards under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Positive Self-Starter: Upbeat, persistent, comfortable with cold outreach, strong time management, and ability to multi-task and communicate ideas clearly in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Strategic Closer: Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales with a proven track record of closing, winning clients, and managing a territory.
- Proven Winner: Ambitious, thrives under pressure, and consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.
A college degree is helpful but not required. If you don’t have a degree, acceptable experience includes:
- Three years of business-to-business sales experience (preferably field sales) in a results-driven environment.
- Military experience—skills like teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a never-lose mentality assist in building teams and client relationships, identifying solutions, and achieving success.

Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Some roles include bonuses, equity, or commissions. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, and Paid Volunteer Time Off. The compensation for this role is USD $56,100.00 - USD $121,500.00 per year. Actual compensation will meet or exceed applicable wage requirements.
