HR Generalist

Human Resources Consultant

Participate in a variety of HR processes such as organizational development and effectiveness, performance management, staffing, training initiatives, career development, compensation and positive employee relations.

Provide guidance and coaching to manager and employees on HR policies and processes to provide consistent handling of employee situations and performance management.

Anticipate, identify and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and performance management consulting.

Act as internal consultant, identifying and partnering with others as appropriate, in addressing issues (e.g. employee morale, interpersonal problems, work conditions, etc.).

Provide counsel and facilitate conflict resolution to address issues for both employees and managers.

Conduct HR orientation for newly hired employees, working in partnership with managers and other functional groups to ensure an effective on-boarding process.

Partner with HR team on employee data transactions so that employee leaves, payroll and benefit administrations are accurate and timely.

Manage and maintain employee files according to document retention policy.

You Should:

Have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.,B.S.) or equivalent in human resources, business or related field.

Have 3+ years of experience in human resources

Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, leave administration and workers compensation practices, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements to act as a subject matter expert to business groups.

Ability to build relationships, establish credibility and influence all levels of the organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
