Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Supervisor, where you will oversee a team of 15-20 housekeepers at the bustling tech center campus. You will be responsible for managing housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness of restrooms, offices, and trash areas, as well as operating and troubleshooting various cleaning equipment. You will also address union-related issues and hold your team accountable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of 15-20 housekeepers.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned buildings on campus.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Address and resolve union-related issues.
• Hold team members accountable and provide coaching and training as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of janitorial or housekeeping supervision within a manufacturing environment of UAW personnel.
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting cleaning equipment.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
• Ability to coach and train team members and uphold union standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with union operations within hospital or other union environments for janitors or housekeepers.
• Ability to create spreadsheets.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
