We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As part of our Housekeeping staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring families feel comfortable and supported during their stay.

The Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia (RMHC Philly) provides a home away from home for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at local hospitals. In addition to comfortable lodging, the House offers meals, activities, and a caring community of support during a family's most challenging times. Our mission is to ease the burdens of families so they can focus on the health and well-being of their child.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning materials.
• Ensure all areas meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Support with laundry services including washing, folding, and distributing linens.
• Assist with maintaining a warm, hospitable, and family-friendly atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other team members and volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor when working in a family-centered environment.
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties, including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Schedule & Compensation

• Starting Rate: $18/hour (Part-Time)
• Flexible scheduling with potential evening and weekend shifts.
