Housekeeper

2nd and 3rd Shift Housekeeper

Pay: $16-17.50 starting out based on experience. Pay increase after 6 months.

Job Description

As a housekeeper, you will provide quality customer service by offering personalized attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining the environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Attend to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Experience in cleaning, janitorial, and environmental services.
• Ability to sweep, mop, and buff surfaces.

• Ability to respond effectively to guest queries and requests.
• Professionalism and teamwork.
• Flexibility to perform various duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
