- This is a permanent position
- Ideal candidates will be internal medicine (IM) trained hospitalists and board certified or board eligible
- 17-20 patient encounters per day (admissions & rounding)
- Average census of 16
- 131 hospital beds
- 12 hour shifts
- 1 rounding day physician (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) plus one APC
- 7 on / 7 off block schedule
- Nights covered by APC. Daytime hospitalist takes night telephone call
- ICU beds covered by intensivists M-F; Hospitalist team covers nights and weekends
- Rapids & codes required
- Vent management required
- Cerner EMR
- Family Medicine training accepted
