Requirements Pediatric Hospitalist- will be working inpatient for pediatric inpatients. Rounding on general peds patients, completing admissions process, working with conjunction with subspecialists. Must be proficient and independent with Lumber punctures.NEEDING DECEMBER COVERAGE, and possibly into January. Looking for Coverage for Days/Nights/Weekends Ranging from December and onward. Hours are 6a-6p, 6p-6a, open 7 days a week.12/24 hour call coverage required- depending on shift. lumbar punctures experience is REQUIIRED.* averaged 26 newborns a day on our service* Level I Nursery : The newborn service will not be included in Locums rotations, only pediatric floor rotations.* there are 6 physicians in the current practice, we are hiring for 3, team complete will be 9 total.* there are 36 med/surg beds within GCHSWF* 70 NICU beds- the NICU has an excellent group, we do not anticipate this Locum to work within the NICU * There are 2 NP's one in the nursery exclusively and one who works Monday-Friday within the Pediatric floors and keeps a 12 patient load per day. Both have greater than 25 years of experience.BLS-AHA , PALS-AHA and NICA membership/receipts required SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR NAME CLEARANCE:updated and current CV,NPBD ( within 3 months) CASE logs covering 24 inpatient records going back ONLY the past 12 months-current. Must be primary source and NOT personal logs. noting patient age is highly preferredBoard Cert/Fl Lisc.
