Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Day Shift opportunity in Olympia Fields, IL

Position Highlights:

Qualifications:

• NP or PA certification and an Illinois license are required.
• One year experience as a hospitalist is required. Will consider NP/PA experience in a hospital setting, inpatient specialty experience, or an acute care experienced RN with NP training rotations focused on inpatient care.
  
• Outstanding bedside manner coupled with the ability to collaborate with patients, fellow team members, and overall stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary attending within our 18-bed observation unit, rounding, and discharging patients.
• Participate in hospital committees based on interest and availability.
• Work to improve the overall quality of patient care.
