Hospitalist, Clinician Educator-Division of Inpatient Pediatrics LAC+USC

Overview

The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. USC Keck School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics at LAC+USC Medical Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Clinician educator tract) with the Division of Inpatient and Critical Care Pediatrics. The position will involve integration into an existing service that provides in-house 24/7 care.

The qualifications include board certification in pediatrics and a valid California medical license. Candidates with post graduate experience with inpatient care, a strong interest in teaching and working with students and residents, and a passion for working with the underserved, are preferred.

<> The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000- $180,000. When extending an offer of employment, USC considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate\'s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
