JOB PURPOSE:

Join our team as a Community Relations Specialist and take on an exciting opportunity to drive growth in our Home Health business. We are seeking a passionate and motivated sales professional to generate early and appropriate referrals by creating and nurturing partnerships with various referral sources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and implement effective strategic plans to achieve territory sales goals.
2. Analyze your assigned territory and collaborate with the sales manager to create a tailored sales plan.
3. Build strong business relationships through impactful sales calls, meetings, and presentations.
4. Coordinate with PruittHealth Home Health staff to ensure seamless communication with referral sources.
5. Collaborate with partners across other PruittHealth divisions to expand patient care opportunities.
6. Identify key referring physicians and strategically grow referral volumes from their offices.
7. Establish connections with key personnel in hospitals, nursing homes, and managed care to enhance referral growth.
8. Maintain a basic understanding of insurance companies and payer sources.
9. Participate actively in promotional activities, sales campaigns, and other initiatives to foster growth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Demonstrate effective sales principles in a healthcare setting.
• Skillful in managing a sales territory, conducting outreach, and building lasting business relationships.
• Possess a foundational clinical knowledge to support sales efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in identifying and nurturing new referral sources.
• Familiar with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools (Webex, Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams).
• Committed to maintaining professional and clinical knowledge.
• Participate in agency surveys and follow compliance protocols.
• Uphold patient rights and adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred along with relevant industry experience. A combination of education and training will be considered.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Understanding of the healthcare landscape and sales processes is vital.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Healthcare Sales/Marketing or a related area that demonstrates the required skills.
