Job Title: Home Health Aide Training Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Days/Evenings/Nights

Join our team as a Home Health Aide Trainee, where you will receive comprehensive training while making a difference in the lives of those you care for. Your responsibilities will include:

• Program Participation: Engage actively in class readings, discussions, and complete all course assignments.

• Verified Skill: Learn to skillfully and safely perform the activities listed on the home health aide competency test.

• Demonstrate Knowledge: Aim to achieve a score of 80% or higher on Home Health Aide quizzes and exams.

• Mandatory Attendance: Arrive punctually for all required training classes and clinical orientations to ensure you gain all necessary knowledge and skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License (not required for ElderONE).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of direct patient care experience is preferred.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

• Physical stamina to meet job demands, including continuous standing or walking and lifting up to 35 lbs.

• Proficient computer skills are preferred.

EDUCATION & LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid New York State Driver's License required (if applicable).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work: Requires the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds occasionally and lift 10 to 25 pounds frequently. This position also involves frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Pay Range: $18.65 - $18.65

The listed base pay range represents potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant and is subject to change based on experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, and contractual arrangements.
