Join Our Team as a Behavior Technician or Classroom Aide at Amergis Healthcare Staffing!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? Amergis Healthcare is looking for dedicated Behavior Technicians and Classroom Aides to join our team in the school setting. You'll work 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom, collaborating with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• n

  Follow instructions from BCBA, teachers, and program supervisors

  n
n
• n

  Implement behavior management techniques and provide crisis intervention

  n
n
• n

  Review and implement behavior intervention plans

  n
n
• n

  Assist in facilitating academic instruction and development plans (SLP, OT, PT)

  n
n
• n

  Document sessions and collect behavioral and academic data

  n
n
• n

  Support students in developing independent daily living skills

  n
n
• n

  Assist students across various environments (classroom, playground, lunchroom, etc.)

  n
n
• n

  Perform other duties as assigned

  n
n

What We're Looking For:

n
• n

  High School diploma or equivalent required

  n
n
• n

  Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

  n
n
• n

  Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

  n
n
• n

  Completion of Amergis' Competency program

  n
n
• n

  Current CPR certification (if applicable)

  n
n
• n

  TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

  n
n
• n

  Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  n
n
• n

  Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

  n
n
• n

  Strong communication skills and proficiency in English

  n
n
• n

  Computer proficiency required

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 18 years of age

  n
n
