Highway Design Engineer

We are seeking a proficient Highway Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to significant infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in traffic and highway engineering design, who is eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Location: Malvern or Warrington, PA
Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with local clients at township, county, and state levels to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
• Utilize engineering principles to interpret, organize, and coordinate assignments with minimal supervision.
• Prepare comprehensive roadway plans, including traffic signal plans, signing and pavement marking plans, and ADA compliance plans.
• Develop and execute maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) plans and detour plans.
• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and specifications.
• Conduct thorough traffic safety and impact studies.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project management.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited program is required.
• 0 to 10 years of relevant design experience.
• Experience as a Project Engineer in traffic or highway engineering.
• Proficiency in Microstation, Civil 3D, Synchro, and MS Office is preferred.
• FE/EIT certification is an advantage.
