We are seeking a dedicated APP to join a new medical oncology center in Key West. In this full-time role, you will collaborate closely with supervising physicians to directly manage the care of complex, acutely ill patients through various communication methods. Your expertise will be crucial in providing quality care, conducting comprehensive patient assessments (including H&Ps and thorough medical histories), and ordering and interpreting necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests. You will also be responsible for developing medical diagnoses, creating appropriate treatment plans, prescribing medical regimens, and educating patients and their families on their diagnosis and plan of care. As privileged, you may also perform approved procedures and order medications.

As a key clinical team leader, you will work directly with physicians, staff, administration, patients, and families to ensure seamless, high-quality care across the healthcare system. You will play a vital role in intervening and managing deteriorating patients, integrating evidence-based practice and technological advancements into your daily work. Opportunities may also exist to participate in research initiatives, data collection, quality improvement projects, discharge planning, and the coordination of patient care within your specialty. What You Will Need:

• For APRNs: Master's Degree, valid Florida APRN License, Nurse Practitioner National certification, DEA License, BLS Certification, and 3 years of relevant nursing experience . Must meet all state of Florida requirements for CEUs and licensure and obtain necessary medical staff credentialing and privileges.
• For PAs: Master's Degree, valid Florida PA License, NCCPA Certification, DEA License, and BLS Certification. Must meet all state of Florida requirements for CMEs and licensure and obtain necessary medical staff credentialing and privileges. Oncology experience as an APP (2 years required).
