Help Desk Technician

- As a Help Desk Technician you'll be the first line of support for internal u experiencing technical issues. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and values clear communication. You'll be part of a team that ensures smooth IT operations across the organization, especially critical in a healthcare setting where uptime and reliability are essential.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues using remote tools and diagnostic techniques
- Log and manage support requests using a ticketing system (Sharewell)
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support when necessary
- Provide guidance and training to u on basic IT procedures and tools
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
- Follow up with u to ensure problems are resolved and satisfaction is achieved
Suggest improvements to support processes and documentation

Required Skills & Experience
- IT or Help Desk experience
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Sharewell preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with Sharewell ticketing system
- Background in healthcare or banking environments
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
