Heavy Industrial Assembler - Mechanical

Assembler $18/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Industrial Assembler to join our team in the line painting division, primarily focusing on airports. Our team specializes in manufacturing custom line painting trucks for runways and roads. You will be responsible for transforming a rolling chassis and cab into a fully finished truck equipped with all components and accessories. This includes wiring, fabricating, and using power tools to install components such as compressors, tanks, pressure vessels, and spray guns.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing a truck from a rolling chassis and cab to a finished product with all components and accessories.
• Perform wiring, fabricating, and installing components such as compressors, tanks, pressure vessels, and spray guns.
• Ensure all components are functioning and properly installed.
• Conduct the final step of wiring to ensure everything works from the truck's cab controls.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Perform electrical automotive wiring and troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read an electrical blueprint/schematic.
• Experience with electrical automotive wiring.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and tracing.

Work Environment

Join a smaller manufacturing shop with about 35 team members. The work environment is a shop/manufacturing setting, featuring a collaborative team atmosphere. The standard schedule is 1st shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muncy, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
