Heavy Equipment Operator

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the Halfway Facility in Carlsbad, NM. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. This is a local role with no travel requirements or per diem. Compensation: $65,000-$75,000+ DOE ($20-$24+/hr.)

Work Schedule:

• Choose between Day Shift or Night Shift with a 6 Days On 3 Days Off rotation .
• For candidates coming from out of town, we offer housing/man camps with a work schedule of 14 Days On 7 Days Off.
• Day shifts operate from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM; Night shifts from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and ADT haul trucks, assisting with day-to-day operations at the facility.
• Manage water control duties, including monitoring and maintaining the customer truck wash rack, operating diesel-driven pumps, oil skimming, and helping with customer off-loading.
• Perform SWD duties involving tank, pump, and well maintenance, along with basic labor and cleaning tasks. You will be responsible for running reports and monitoring oil field waste treatment operations. Previous mechanical experience and large plant maintenance skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic computer proficiency.
