Rate: $19 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience as a cook or in food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must work safely around food and cleaning products.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area is required.
